Pray INV – Dr Ron Walborn once said: ‘In every space we gather, the Holy Spirit dips his toe in and asks: ‘ am I welcome here?‘ We want every space we enter to be filled with his presence and for to be people of his presence we are to be people of prayer. We are passionate about prayer, we believe prayer changes things and that prayer underpins everything we do. We are longing for Inverness to ‘be a place that comes alive’, a city that is alive in Christ. We are on a journey of prioritizing prayer in our community and seeking God in everything we do as Jesus followers.
At the moment this looks like a number of gatherings and rhythms:
Tuesday morning prayer: During term time 9.30am to 10.30am in person at the church office, 1A Huntly Terrace, Huntly Street, IV3 5PS
Fast Friday: Every Friday many of us fast as a church community and pray for breakthrough. Early Friday morning we send out a prayer outline for the day. Click here to sign up.
Sunday morning prayer: Every Sunday we meet at Millburn we pray at 10am before the service. You are invited even if you aren’t serving that morning, come as we give the morning space to the Lord.
Sunday evening prayer: Every Sunday night we pray as a church community. Most weeks its on Zoom at 8-9pm. Click here to jump straight in. On the last Sunday of the month we gather in person in various locations in the city. Keep an eye on the notices for where.
